Jim Bauermann, 83, of Clearwater, died August 29, 2003. Born in Germany, he came to America through Ellis Island when he was 5 years old. He served his country in the US Marines over 25 years. He was a veteran of WWll. Korea and Vietnam. He was a Lutheran. After his military career, he was the Manager of the Pinkerton Guards in the Buffalo office. He also worked with the Sun Bank in Dunedin. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou, 4 sons, Greg Clark, Blaine Harding, Gary Harding, Jeffrey Harding, 7 daughters, Faye Teluk, Susan Bycroft, Linda Loy, Lori Hannaford, Dawn Putzel, Joyce Leski, Connie Castellini, 26 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. He was buried with full Military Honors at Bay Pines National Cemetery with Fr. Tom Dieter officiating.
