Margaret ?Peg? Loehrig passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in Clearwater, FL.
As a native of her most beloved city, Pensacola; Peg will be laid to rest with her husband Robert at Barrancas National Cemetery. The Memorial Service was held 10:00 am August 13, 2007.
She was a faithful parishioner of the Church of the Good Shepard in Dunedin, FL and a proud member of their chapter of the Daughters of the King. Just for fun, Peg and friends started their own local chapter of the Red Hat Society and took the city by storm of their monthly luncheons wearing elaborate red hats and stylish purple dresses!
Her last career, she loved the most was in Pensacola, as an AARP Senior Employment Specialist. She was the local ?tiger lady? when it came to education and job placement for seniors.
A son, Chet Metcalfe; four daughters, Candi Bistline, Cindy Rose, Cheri Grabau, and Lisa Kuyrkendall; two sisters, Dottie Brush and Wendy Morrissey; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive her.
Peg was a wonderful, loving mother, daughter and sister, a beloved wife and a cherished friend to so many who will miss her often and love her always. Arrangements by Veterans Funeral Care, Clearwater.
