Murphy James Robinson Sr. was born on June 11, 1928 in Franklin, LA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Robinson Sr., two brothers, Albert and Will Robinson and his son, Murphy James Robinson, Jr. He leaves to mourn his death: Mother, Jennie L. Robinson of Franklin, LA; uncle David McCoy Sr.,Gladys Houston, TX; former wife, Annie M. Martin Robinson of Los Angeles, CA and his present wife, Eleanor Robinson of Houston, TX; sister, Julia Julia Robinson of Houston, TX; three daughters: Patricia Schexnayder Milton of New Orleans, LA; Roslyn Sowell of Los Angeles, CA and Patricia Robinson-Kennedy of Houston, TX; sons: Ray Charles Robinson Zelma and Randal Keith Robinson Kathy of Los Angeles, CA., sixteen grandchildren and eleven grandchildren as well as a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Murphy was much loved and will be deeply missed by his friends and family. He will be remembered as a Christian, loving father and a good friend. His smile, wit and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

I called you Uncle Murk,but you were one of the best first cousins a girl could ever ask for. Your laughter, smiles and jokes will be missed very much.However, I missed alot of your life and who you were and the man you stood for simply because we were never around you that much but, that that I knew of you, I loved very much and your love for me I will carry in my heart always. So Uncle Murk,as long as my heart beats, and as long as I breath life, you will never pass away you will be with me always.
