Loving husband, father, and grandfather, Robert William Thomas, Sr. ?Paw Paw? departed this earth to be with the Lord September 28, 2007.
He was born May 4th, 1934 in Princeton WV, the son of the late Hubert Woodrow Thomas and Mamie Virginia Perdue.
While a young man, Bob served in the Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He received a GED in the Navy and graduated from Beckley College with an Associate in Arts and from Concord College, Princeton WV with a BS in Business Administration.
On September 18, 1953 he married Sandra Joyce Johnston in Princeton WV. Together with his loving wife, they have resided in Largo, FL for the last 14 years.
He is survived by spouse, Sandra, wife of 54 years, and four children;

Sorry to hear about losing Bob. He and I worked as telegraphers on the Virginian Railway together and enlisted in the US Navy at the same time. Seems unreal that he is gone, but we all must face that reality My condolences to his family.
I am so proud to be your daughter,Dad. You blessed your family with all of your love,care, and wisdom. We will see you again “when we all get to heaven,what a day of rejoicing that will be!”
