Mr. Myers,
You were well loved. We think your greatest legacy is the children you left behind. In each of them your light will shine. God bless you,
Vincent, Rose Ellen,
Andrew and Caitlin Corbett
Dad,
I would like to say everything to you now, that I didn’t get to say. I would like to thank you for all the times I may have forgotten to. I would like to hug you for all the times, I didn’t get the chance. Dad, please know that a day will never go by without you feeling my love and admiration. I am going to miss you more than words can express. In my heart I feel that you are at peace and for that I am grateful.
You have been a wonderful father and you’ve always made sure that I knew how much you loved me and how proud of me you were. I will miss your smile, your hugs and your advice, but I know that you will still be here for me when I need you. Two of the most important things that you have given to me in my life besides life, are a positive attitude and the desire to achieve my goals. I promise you that I will achieve my literary goals…for you and me!
I hope that you have been able to give Jack that big hug that you’ve been saving for him and please give him one from me too. Dad, please don’t worry about Sandy, we will make sure that she is well taken care of…we love her too! John and the kids will be fine, they miss you dearly and you will always be in their hearts forever.
Remember Dad, we only part in this life to meet again in another…it will be a long time from now, but I’ll see you then. Keep an eye on us all.
I love you,
Becky

Dad –
As I’ve said many times before, I am truly grateful that you and my mother brought me into this world. I am most grateful to have a family of my own, as children are the truly God’s gift to us all. While life has its challenges, we all process these challenges in different ways…with good intentions. Your guidance was consistent and supportive, always taking others’ into your consideration. I’ve always been inspired by your dedication to the profession of sales. You have always shared your wisdom and experience to be successful. Best of all, was your sense of humor, which I like to believe I’ve mastered but my children are already catching me in this area :-. I do regret that we weren’t able to spend more time together, for you and Sandy to get to know my wife and children. I know they would have appreciated the person you were to so many. Between Jack, my Mother and You, each of you are and will continue to be missed. I love you!
Your Son,
Billy
I bought my first big screen TV from Jim in the late 70’s and we soon became fast friends. He had become a patient in my office and later, in the 90’s, he helped established my first payroll account. When I began to play golf again it was Jim who invited me to play with him and, after some significant improvement in my game, he made it a habit to include me in the Member Guest at Isla Del Sol. I will miss him… as cantankerous as he could sometimes be… he was a magnificent friend. I just wish I had been there to bid him farewell.
Thank you, Jim, for being the best Big Brother a girl could ever hope for. I will miss our wonderful visits and long talks, over the last few years.
In your words; “I hope I don’t see you soon”.
All My Love
Forever
Sally
I am sorry to hear that Jim has passed. As young people Jim, his sister Sally and I were great Buddies. We have lost a good man and friend !
I am sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I met him several times when he visited his sister and my stepmother, Sally Chrisman, in Dayton, OH.
He always had a smile and a laugh and was a very good conversationalist!
I give my sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
May he rest in peace and light.
Chris Chrisman
We love you Grandpa Myers!!!!! We will always have a place for you in our hearts!
To a great man and person every person will miss on this earth.

Jim was my cousin and being 10 years older than me, I looked up to him literally and figuratively.
I will always remember Jim took me out to play my first round of golf as a young teenager. As any golfer can testify, taking a wet nosed kid out for his first try at golf can make for a long afternoon. But Jim was kind, supportive and encouraging to me that day and left me a fond memory to this day.
Although we had not seen each other for many years, Jim will always be my cousin, my friend and my “Big Brother”

I’m going to miss my Uncle Jimmy’s bear hugs and his fantastic sense of humor. I’m hope my Daddy and Grandma and cousin Jack were there to welcome you home. I love you.
Jim,
You were the only dad I have had in my life. I want to thank you for all the memories that you have given to us but especially to mom. We are glad that you are now in a place with no more pain. You will be missed.
Jim, it’s now been six months since you’ve left this earth. Seems like only yesterday. Time has a way of flying by. I miss you as much today as when you first left. !!!
Jim it’s now been 1 year since you’ve left us. We miss you now just as much as when you first left us. I hope you’re playing golf today and having a good time. Last year at this time you were suffering so. I will always have you in my heart !! Your family will always have you with us.
