Robert Dixon Gordon, Sr., 77, of Tampa, died on Friday, November 16, 2007 at University Community Hospital of Carrollwood. He was born in Mount, Vernon, IL and moved here in 1975 from Fort Wayne, IN. He served his country in the US Navy and was a truck driver. He is survived by his son, Robert Gordon, Jr. of Tampa; daughters, Patricia Gordon and Sharon Gordon, both of Tampa; brother, Jack Gordon of Riverview; and grandchildren, Robbie, John Eric, Kristen. Memorial services with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL and are scheduled for Thursday, November 29, at 2:30PM. This date is subject to change due to availability at the cemetery.
