Daddy I love you and will miss you very much but I know your in heaven playing golf and smiling down on us.
Thank you for being a great father to me. I have very special memories of when we would drive down to the beach, and watch the sunset into the deepest part of the ocean. Thank you for that.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I remember Uncle John at Granpa George’s house always having a smile on his face and that’s how I’ll remember him.
Dear Poppy,
I Love You and you are my best friend. Come see me in my dreams when I am sleeping.
Love,
Jakie
My Dad – You were the best dad anyone could ask for. You taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. You loved your kids and grandkids more than anything in the world. You could not wait to see the grandkids and you never tired of hearing what they had done. I will truly miss sharing the stories with you but I know you will be with us watching everything. I love you DAD!!!
My Poppy was a good man. Poppy would always share his orange juice and candy with me. I will miss his high 5’s. I love my Poppy.

We began 1st grade together at the age of five and continued through the 12th grade. What an astonding impression you made on my wife Billie and I when we shared our home with you when you attended Northern IL U. in DeKalb, IL. After your passing I communicated via email with your Mary and found that to be an equally rewarding experience. Watch over all of us, family and friends from your lofty perch in heaven . Thanks for sharing a large part of the 20th century with us.
