Luther and MaryEllen “Angels” from above, sent to Earth to share the word, who changed our lives for the better, and helped us to see the bigger plan.
Love you Luther.. You and Mew always held a special place in my heart. Tell Jerri hi, and save me a place!
I am so grateful to have known Luther and thank the Lord for blessing me with the time I was able to spend with him. Mary Ellen, you have been and will continue to be in my prayers.
Luther Wilkinson was my Grandpa. He had an amazing influence on my life, more than I think he realized. I will forever remember the things he taught me and I will cherish the memories I have of him. He could always make me laugh and he showed me what it looks like to treat your spouse with unconditional love. I will always love him. Grandma, I love you so much and I wish I could have been there for you.
He is a great man, and will be remembered dearly buy all whom meet him.
Luther was a great man and loved by all, I hope that someday that I can have the same impact on people’s lives that he had on everyone he touched.
I am really going to miss Luther. He was such a loving uncle and such a wonderful Christian. Since I’ve been in the family, he has always made me feel loved and welcomed. I loved him so much, and I still do, and always will. While it is going to be hard without him here on Earth, I can’t wait to see him again in Heaven.
I really only knew Luther through Mary Ellen’s eyes but I do know that
he is a a very loving and kind man that will be remembered and greatly
missed by everyone that knew him.
Luther:
You and your lovely wife were the first couple my wife and I met at Victory Church and we decided we had come to the right church if all the members were the quality you two are. You are deeply loved and will be missed.

Mary Ellen,
I wish to convey my deepest sympathy to you and your family in this difficult time of loss. My prayers are with you. May your wonderful memories of Luther as well as your knowledge of the kind gentle caring man of God he was comfort you. You and Luther were great friends to my mother Marie Ellsworth and I greatly appreciated all the wonderful things you and Luther did to help her. God BLess You and your Family
Our deepest condolences to Mary Ellen, Glenn and the rest of the Wilkinson family. Luther will be greatly missed here at Victory Church of the Nazarene and personally as a friend. Luther exemplified what it meant to be Christ-like in everything that he did. It is my honor to work along side such a godly, talented, and loving man such as Luther. We know Luther is having the time of his life in Heaven with Jesus and he certainly is not bothered by any cancer any more. We are praying for you and your family, Mary Ellen. God bless you during this difficult time you are going through. Pastor Rocky Hambrick and Victory Church of the Nazarene
Dear Mary Ellen and family, be assured that Luther will be missed greatly. I’ve known him for 20 years or so and he was a wonderful man of God. I know you will miss him but he is with God now and not feeling any pain. I’m sure he is having a ball and getting all the answers he ever needed. Please feel free to call if you need anything. Love you, Carla
I’m so thankful to have been taught by such a wonderful, spiritual man. He will be missed. My prayers are with Maryellen and his family.
Luther was an amazing example of love and grace and learning. He is already missed.
To my adopted Grandparents:
I love you both very much!
Grandpa, you have a special place in my heart and always will. I have learned more from you than most in my life and am thankful for all the hours you spent and the patience you had with me. I love you.
Grandma, thank you for welcoming me into your lives as part of the family. I love you so very much and will be home with you soon!
MaryEllen, Bruce was very honored to be asked to read. It was very hard for him. Until Celebrate Recovery he never could have got up in front of people to talk. In our life I have met many people who say, “We wish we could have been there” or “we are praying for you”. Until we met you and Luther I thought that was just something people said. Your presence at C.R. showed us how much you cared. At the service your son spoke about your attending and praying for C.R. Thank You! Luther made an impression in my life. I know I was blessed to get to know the both of you. Please let me know if I can ever do anything for you. Love Amy and Bruce Bordeaux
Dear MaryEllen and Family,
“Wow! What a “Welcome Home” Luther must have received!
Our love and prayers are with you and your family.
But we rejoice just to know he is truly at home. God Bless you.

An Uncle that set an example whose footsteps are going to be hard to follow, however to follow his example will lead to the path of salvation, and to home where Luther is now at, in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ!!
We will always remember you as an excellent sunday school teacher and a beloved man of God. We are privileged to have known you and to thank you for your Christlike example you have shown to all who knew you.
