Only one life, but lived so well,
She kept her candle trimmed bright;
Only time and eternity will tell
The radius of her candles light.
God Bless Harold and Ann

Mrs.Jones had a great impact on my teenage years-we had so much fun with her then and all through the years as we became adults and then parents ourselves. She will be missed…
She left behind a wonderful legacy…3 talented and capable children, 6 wonderful grandchildren, and now, her precious great-grand babies. Her life was full of the people and things she loved. I pray that you will feel God’s strength and comfort during this time of great loss.
Love,
Lyssa, Javier and family
Just as beautiful as her daughter Alice. I wish I had known her.
Godspeed,Leota and guide us.
Thanks for the great friend you have given me!

Mose and Family,
Leota was like a magnet to me. I loved her so much and idolized her like a movie star when I was a child. Her beauty, her wittiness, everything about her I loved. It has been such an honor to have been here with her and you all and to have had the opportunity to tell her how much she meant to me. I cherish every moment I have had with her and you all. You all have a very special place in my heart. My heart goes out to each of you and you have my deepest sympathy.
May God’s comfort and blessings be with you always. Love, Barbara
She was an experience that we are all so lucky to have had. She is a story, a song, an example of how to be an individual.
I have such fun memories visiting Megan’s Memaw with her! I’ll bet she’s got those angels singing and dancing!!
Mama taught me the value of individuality in all aspects of life. She had the soul of an artist and the carried the weight of the world on her shoulders. I know that wherever she is now she will be guiding me to be the best person that I can be individually and in the universe. I love you Mama.
We are so very saddened to hear of Leota’s death, and our condolences to Mose, Alice, Daphne and Keith. I have the fondest memories of her wonderful laugh. A room was more than brightened with her presence, and everyone around her felt special. We’ll miss you Leota.
My heartfelt sympathy to Mose, Alice, Daphne, Keith and their families.
I have so many fond memories of Leota and her kindness to my family. We often spent Saturday nights at the Jones house for dinner; kids watching Bugs Bunny and playing “torture” outside, while my widowed mother had some adult conversation. She was a lifelong friend to my mother. Leota gave me piano lessons while my mother gave lessons to Alice. I was always awed by her creativity and talents.
I will miss her.
Our mother taught us not to care what others think, just to do what you know is right.
She and Daddy made us understand that family and commitment, not money and things, are the most important treasures in life. I know that more than ever now.
She was light years ahead of her time, yet still held good, common sense values.
Her spirit will live on in us her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and so on.
I thank God for her and for that.
