Richard E. Limpert, 57, of Largo, FL passed away on December 18, 2007 at the Bay Pines VA Medial Center, Bay Pines, FL of natural causes. A native of Buffalo, NY and a local resident on the Bay Area since 2004, when he moved here from Rochester, NY; he was a photographer for Eastman Kodak Co.; a Catholic; a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his loving family: his caregiver and companion of 19 years, Joanne Bianchi of Rochester, NY; his son, David Limpert and his wife, Cathy and thier children, Angie, Joey and Bryan of Largo, FL; a daughter, Amy Henry and her children, Evan and Cherri of Clearwater, FL; his mother, Florence Limpert of Largo, FL; a brother, Jim Limpert and his wife, Linda of Clearwater, FL; two sisters, Mary Anderson and her husband, Dennis of Pinellas Park, FL and Peggy Neiscur and her husband, Steve of Sterling, VA. Military graveside services are 1:30 PM, Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Bay Pines VA National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33504 with VFW Post 9272 and Chaplin Bud Burkett, officiating. Please send all floral arrangements directly to the cemetery, prior to service time.

You will always be remembered as my big brother. You were always there if we needed you. Thank you for all you did caring for Mom these last few years. You were the transportation provider for so many friends and family. Sometimes it was for a ride to the airport or to stop and pick up something at the store. Someone we could always count on. Your spirits were so high even to the last day. That is something I will always cherish. Thanks for the great memories.

I wish to offer my sincere condolences to Richard’s family. I was lucky enough to have met Richard earlier this year, and in the short time that I knew him I could tell that he was a great and caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. I wish he and I could have shared more stories together, but I will not dwell in sorrow for I know that he is waiting for us to join him in God’s kingdom. Richard, my friend, you will be missed…but not forgotten.
I will always remember Uncle Richard’s deep dark voice, His uncanny resemblence to Ray and his sense of humor. He was always willing to help anyone. He raised 2 great kids. He will surely be missed.
My husband Val and I had the pleasure of knowing Richard through my cousin Joanne. He was a caring person, and would do anything for you. We had some good times when we all got together. He will be sadly missed by everyone, especially my cousin Joanne.

We are all going to miss you so very much. You treated my kids like your own grandchilden and thankyou for that. For taking Bryan driving, for driving Angie to school in the morning so she wouldn’t have to walk and for driving joe to school when he misses the bus which he did all the time. Remeber the times driving to Florida withn all 3 cars that is time that we will always cheerish.Going to Clearwater beach at night and watching all the shows or taking the girls to the playground you loved doing or just coming over to visit. You loved driving that is why we called your van the “green bus”. We love you and miss you and I was glad to call you my father-in-law. We cannot change what has happened but we will always remember the times we all have spent together.
