Veterans Funeral Care William Molander, Jr.

William A. Molander, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute.

Born in Boston, MA, he moved here from Montclair, NJ in 1962. He earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for Honeywell and owned several electronic businesses including “E-Virotronics” in Pinellas Park. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII in the Phillippines and in preparation for the invasion of Japan. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10093, Safety Harbor. He was of Catholic faith. He enjoyed working with computer hardware and software and studying geneology.

Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Richard, Winter Haven FL; his son, Bill, Livermore CA; a brother, Peter, North Andover MA; four sisters, Anna Krohn, Panama City FL, Kay Crow, Burlington MA, Peggy Leahy, Stoneham MA, and Winnie Hanby, SC; eight grandchildren and a great grandson.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 31st at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor.
