MaryAnn – I’m so sorry about your mom, and your dad, since I didn’t know about that until today. My dad was born in Rockport and he and my mom lived in Magnolia, and then in Clearwater. Your parents and my mom were friends; and your mom sent me several letters about the old days which I enjoyed and talked about you. You lived in N.E. at the time. She also knew my sister Ginny Green Neal of Rockport, who I just lost on Sunday, April 13th, in Rockport. Since last speaking with your mom, I also lost my husband only 63 in 2004. Life happens, and we continue.
My condolences to you and yours. Your parents were just lovely people.

Please accept my sympathies for the passing of Marion. She was my 6th grade teacher and I have fond memories still to this day. Noel and my dad were friends and worked at Anadama Bread together.

So sorry to read of your mom’s passing.I was thinking of her just the other day and how she called me a couple years ago to see how my wife and son Rob and I were doing.Marion was my kindergarten teacher and I can still hear her cheerfull and guideing voice while making sillowets we were so proud of and useing the building blocks, crayons, scizzors, and glue, seems like yesterday. She made me feel special in her class. Many good times were had with my parents and yours over the years especialy in Clearwater which they enjoyed so much, at yard sales and card games or just talking and enjoying the warm climate together as friends. She was a special kind of woman and helped make the world a better place for many.I like to think they are all together and at peace now watching over us more than ever.Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. My condolences on the passing of your mother. She was my kindergarten teacher and I guess you never forget your first teacher. She was wonderful. I also ended up having her as a substitute through the years even into high school. She and your Dad were both so kind. When I ended up going to St. Mike’s they promised my parents to come look me up and took me out to breakfast in South Burlington…it was so nice to catch up with her after so many years. That was back in 1982.
My friends and I still talk about our kindergarten class. She left a lasting impression. Take care, Tim Reilly
