William Ronald Burks, Sr., 72, of Tampa, FL passed away Thursday afternoon, April 24, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital, Tampa.
He moved here from his native Akron, OH in 1965. He retired as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Carrollwood, FL after 41 years. He served in the US Navy for almost three years. He was a Master Mason with the Blue Lodge Hillsborough #25 F&AM. He enjoyed exercising and playing countless hours of Connect Four.
Survivors include his three sons, William “Ronnie”, Jr. of Tampa, Martin of Gadsden, AL, and Marcus of Tarpon Springs, FL; a daughter, Wendy Lantz; two sisters, Martha Medaris and Sue Sinniger, all of Tampa; five grandchildren and two great grandsons.

I only met Ron a couple of times and he was a great preson we will be greatly missed my thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time
