Henry Eugene Jones, 77, was born on July 21, 1930 and went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2008. He was a Marine Corps veteran, having served three years in the South Pacific at the end of WWII. Upon his discharge, he remained with the 5th Marine Corps Reserve District and was called to active duty during the Korean War, retiring as a Sergeant.
He is survived by his children: John, Allen, Cheryl, Cathy, Michael, Gina, Chris, and an adopted daughter, Doris, and several grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Arthur, and two sisters: Lola Christine Goller and Josephine Eleanor Lloyd.
He resided and passed away at the Bay Pines Veterans Hospital.
Military honors will be held on May 8th at 1pm from Florida National Cemetery.
