Sigismund T. “Ziggy” Kilianski, 88, died Monday, May, 5, 2008 at the Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on October 22, 1919 and served his country in the United States Army in the European Theater of combat during World War II.
Ziggy returned to New Jersey and lived in Freehold where he was employed as the maintanace supervisor for the Freehold Harness Raceway, retiring with forty years of service.
He has been married to Mary Menny Kilianski for 23 years, and together moved to Pinellas Park, Florida in 1986 following his retirement.
Private family services are scheduled.
