Anthony Martin Shirhall, 80, of Clearwater, died on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Binghamton, NY and moved to Clearwater in 1980 from Gouldsboro, PA. He was a veteran of World War II and served his country in the US Navy. He was a programmer in the computer industry. He is survived by his sons, Peter of Virginia Beach, VA, Gerald of Upper Greenwood Lake, NJ and Stephan of Fair Lawn, NJ; daughters, Nancy Bickner of Raleigh, NC and Karen Shirhall of Fouldsboro, NC; sisters, Barbara Hammond of Grass valley, CA, and Lillian Krantz of Studio City, CA; eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Your Dad was a special man. I hope his days at the Oaks were happy. He had a twinkle in his eye I’ll never forget. The Shirhall family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am grateful for the chance we had to see each other before my father passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am a cousin of the Shirhalls – on the Zedik side. Mother was Margaret Zedik. Tom Shirhall, Jr. passed away APril 27th in Arlington, VA also. They are both a loss to the family and in our prayers.
