John Francis Henry, son of the late Charles J. and Josephine Henry nee Enick, born August 7, 1935, passed away on Thursday June 12, 2008 in Vineland, NJ. He was born and raised in Randall Manor, Staten Island, NY. John is a graduated of St. Peter’s High School and The Ohio State University. Prior to attending Ohio State, John served his country in the Army and is a veteran of the Korean War. He also obtained his Masters in Business from Wagner College. While at St. Peter’s, John was an outstanding basketball player and well known for his basketball prowess. John spent most of his career as an independent financial consultant and ran his own venture capital corporation on Wall Street. Later in life, he was an avid golfer and a member of Esquire Golf Club for many years as well as the Bamm Hallow Country Club in Holmdel, NJ. John is survived by his brother Jerry and his sons Jonathan Charles and Marc Andrew and Laraine. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 2pm at Arlington National Cemetery in Alexandria, VA. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made in memory of John Henry to New Jersey Veterans’ Memorial Home, 524 Northwest Boulevard, Vineland, NJ 08360
