Joseph William Capewell, 66, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Bay Pines Veterans Health Care Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 23, 1942, the son of Joseph B. and Dorothy Ford Capewell. Joe attended local schools and later enlisted with the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed as an insurance salesman for many years. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Capewell, of Philadelphia, PA; his sister, Edna Sis Friend, of Philadelphia, PA; and his friend and companion, Rose Longiaru, of Largo, FL.
