Antonio “Tony” Lee Gary, 50, of Clearwater, FL passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Born on August 1, 1957, and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, he attended Dixie Hollins High School. He joned the US Army for three years at seventeen, serving in Germany during the Vietnam era. Returning, he worked for Bayfront Medical Center and attended New Birth Abundant Life Ministry. He enjoyed working as a handyman and fishing at The Pier.
Surivors include his wife, Lella of Albany, GA; a son, Onteddrick “Pernell” Bradley, St. Petersburg; a daughter, Siensatonia “Tonya” Gray, Monticello, FL; five brothers: David and Charles of St. Petersburg, James and Nelson, Sr. of Michigan, and Ronald of Valrico, FL; three sisters, Dora Gary, Angela Doles, and Jacqueline Thomas, all of St. Petersburg; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Military Honors will be presented at Bay Pines National Cemetery.

May God comfort and strengthen all of you during this time of sorrow . I last saw Tony in June 2003 while I was in the hospital Bayfront and had just had my little girl . He and Angela came up to see me and he bought me flowers while I was there . I will never forget that . We used to live next dor to each other years ago but I will never forget you .
