Carroll E. “JR” Crozier Jr. funeral services are 11:00 AM, Saturday-September 13, 2008 at the Tampa Veterans Park, 3602 US Highway 301 North, Tampa, FL 33619 with the Veterans of Foreign War Post 4283, officiating.
A native of Charlotte, MI and a local resident of Valrico, FL since 1980, arriving from Charlotte, MI. JR was the manager for Brandon U-Haul Store on Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL. JR was a veteran of the Vietnam War Era and served our nation in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Crozier of Valrico, FL; three sons: Ty Crozier and his wife, Liz of Brandon, FL; Todd Dickens and his wife, Karen of Valrico, FL and David E. Cole and his wife, Erica of Ft. Hood, TX; two daughters; Brigitte Crozier of Lutz, FL and Teryle Dickens of Brandon, FL; brothers: William Crozier and his wife, Ann and Robert Crozier and his wife, Vickie, all of Charlotte, MI; a sister, Dorothy Wood and her husband, Jim of Sebring, FL; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

My heart goes out to you all. JR was a very special person and a great friend,always to be remembered.
What a great guy! Loved his family dearly and never put them 2nd to anything. Everytime we would see him he talked of nothing but family. He was very proud of them. Had such great times at little league baseball with he and Linda as JR coached the team our sons were on. What a fun time that was! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am very sorry to hear about JR’s passing. I worked with him for many years at Uhaul. The past few years I had run into him many times at Wal Mart and talked about old times. My heart goes out to his family and friends he will be dearly missed………….. CURT

Things I remember about JR –
A large glass jar of money that he had saved from delivering newspapers on his bicycle and I thought wow, how rich he was. A yard full of bicycles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, always something to ride, wow, how rich he was. Playing hide and seek in the big house on Lansing Road. Playing cards in the basement at family reunions and sneaking a sip of beer. Drinking slush and playing euker all night at the card parties. Watching him play baseball when he was on the city league. Taking Bridgett and Dede roller skating. A weekend of fishing at the cabin. Playing euker and drinking Hot Damn. Playing frog baseball in the backyard. Always off hunting or fishing or on some kind of cool adventure. Diggin’ for sharks teeth on Venice beach. My first fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico. My first trip to the Florida Keys. The many family holiday dinners, oh so many turkeys, hams, venison, ribs and burgers. There are so many fond memories I have of JR that it is difficult to list them all. And so many times I thought, wow, how rich he is. I realize now, however, how rich I am to have been a part of his life, a part of his family, and to have experienced so many good times with him.
I will miss you dearly JR, and you will always have a special place in my heart. XOXOXO.
