So long, my friend. God Bless
Some yrs. ago, Mr. Medearis was so kind to me when I had so many financial problems. I’m so sorry to hear of his death. My sympathy to all his family.
Dear David and Erin,
I was so sorry to learn of your father’s passing. Many, many years ago, I loved him very much too. Erin, I lost all your contact info. when lightening fried my computer. I have tried to find you on line, and finally found this today. When you find a bit of time I would appreciate your getting in touch with me so that I may find out more about your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
Carol Porter
I am Charlie’s cousin Jennifer, daughter of Mary Medearis, Charlie’s father Gandy’s sister. I only heard of Charlie’s death today, from my mother Mary and other cousin Susie. Charlie was older than I, but I have wonderful memories of us all at his father’s lake, eating paperthin hamburgers and diving into the weedy water. Charlie teased me unmercifully but I loved it because to my ten year old eyes he was dreadfully cute. I think of you all in your loss.
David and Erin – Charlie was my cousinhis dad and my mom were brother and sister. I always remember your Dad as charming and mischievous. I met you David when you were about 4 months old and named Spike. I know your Dad loved you both intensely and hope you will always think of him as a unique, loving man. He always made us laugh when the cousins got together out at the lake. Smile when you think of him, because I do.
Suzie
