Veterans Funeral Care Harry Loupas, Sr

 

Harry Loupas Sr. was born August 28, 1919; he entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on February 9, 2009 at age 89, in Flagstaff Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rose Loupas, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Diamontina Loupas, his son Harry JR. and wife Sally, from Prescott, AZ., daughter Carol Mace, and husband John from Williams, AZ. He has 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
    He served as a Sergeant in the United States Air force during WWII, from April 1943 to February 1946. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, were he lived for most of his life. He worked at Northrop Corporation in Hawthorne, California for 28 ½ years, in engineering, as a Contract Analyst. He retired as an Engineering Data Manager. After his retirement, he resided in Smoot ,Wyoming and later moving to Joshua Tree, California and has spent the last 2 ½ years in Williams, AZ, To be closer to his children. He was a gentle, kind, soft spoken, sincere man, who had a sense of humor and wittiness that is comparable to none. His ability to see the positive side of life, made us all want to be better people.
  He was laid to rest on February 17, 2009, with a Military Honor Guard Service, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ. 
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and all who knew him were blessed.
We will miss him and he will forever be remembered in our hearts.
