Clay Yarber, L/CPL.-USMC-Retired-Vietnam War Veteran, of Riverside, CA and formerly of St Petersburg, FL.
Memorial/Funeral services are 7:30 PM, Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Harvest Temple Church, 13301 Walsingham Road, Largo, FL 33774, with Rev. Randy Morris and Chaplain Joe Walser, USMC-Retired, to officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 PM until service time. Full military honors will be held at the conclusion of the service by Marine Corps League #54.
L/Cpl. Yarber died on February 12, 2009 in Clarence, NY as a result of being a passenger on a Continental Airlines Flight 3407. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran that served in Vietnam and was awarded two Purple Hearts; a Bronze Star; Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Vietnam Service Medal and a Presidential Unit Citation and served in the 3rd Force-3rd Division-Recon while serving with the United States Marine Corps.
Preceded in death by his father and a brother, L/Cpl. Yarber is survived by his loving family: two sons, four daughters, a mother, brother, sister; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his loving and extended family.
