Monserrate Marques-Velez, 70, of Dunedin, FL died on April 7, 2009 at the Hospice of the Woodside in Pinellas Park, FL.
Her funeral will be held 11:00 Am, Monday, April 13, 2009 at the North Bay Community Church, 3170 North McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33761 with Pastor Dan McDonald, to officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 AM until service time. Graveside services are 1:00 PM, Monday, April 13, 2009 at Calvery Catholic Cemetery, US Highway 19 North, Clearwater, FL with Reverend Helion Cruz, to officiate. A native of Puerto Rico, she was a Baptist.
She is survived by her loving family: a son, Rigoberto”Rig” Perez and his wife, Brenda of Magnolia, Delaware; two daughters: Diana Vette Perez and her husband, Ken Adams of East Hanover, NJ and Zonia Rennar of Trinity, FL; a brother, Angel Marquez of St. Petersburg, FL; five sisters: Eroilda Marquez of St Petersburg, FL; Juanita Torrez of Ohio; Salvadora Marquez of St. Petersburg, FL; Ramona Lugo of Daytona, FL and Florita Aponte of Brooklyn, NY; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
