Mr. Charlie will be truly missed. He was a very nice and sweet man. He always brought us cookies whenever he came to volunteer at the pharmacy. May God Bless your family.
I am truly sorry for the loss of your loved one. Mr. Charlie was one of our loved ones here at the MacDill AFB Pharmacy as well. I really enjoyed the times he came to help us. I enjoyed talking with him. He was always so thoughtful. We all considered Mr. Charlie one of our own. He was a big part of the MacDill AFB Pharmacy Family. He will truly be missed. Rest in Peace Charlie. We love you.
My sympathies to the family. I’ve known Charlie for about 20 years now. I worked with him at MacDill pharmacy. Charlie and Everett Daniel were great pals and really made the volunteer operation work at it’s best. Charlie was the muscle behind making things work here, he was the best! He always made me smile by his words and sense of humor. A true patriot! I will miss him. God Bless You All.
Thanks Charlie for your service to our country and to the employees and patrons of the MacDill AFB Pharmacy. You brightened the days of all who worked and visited with you. We couldn’t have done our jobs without your help…you made the pharmacy a better place. You’ll be missed!
Charlie was one of a kind… his sense of humor unmatched…but mostly he made me laugh! He will be missed dearly by Team MacDill and all who knew and loved him. This poem is for you Charlie …
THE SHIP OF LIFE
by John T. Baker
Along the shore I spy a ship
As she sets out to sea; She
spreads her sails and sniffs the breeze And slips away from me.
I watch her fading image shrink,As she moves on and on,
Until at last she’s but a speck,Then someone says, “She’s gone.”
Gone where? Gone only from our sight And from our farewell cries; That ship will somewhere reappear To other eager eyes.
Beyond the dim horizon’s rim
Resound the welcome drums,
And while we’re crying “There she goes!” They’re shouting
“Here she comes!”
We’re built to cruise for but a while Upon this trackless sea Until one day we sail away
Into infinity.
Charlie was a great man and will be truly missed.
Charlie was a good man and he will be greatly missed.
I am thankful to have gotten a chance to know Charlie. He was a hardworking man with a kind heart and he is dearly missed.
I worked with Charlie for over 9 years at MacDill AFB. He was a dedicated volunteer and truly enjoyed what he did. He was a part of our pharmacy family and we will definately miss him. My sympathies go out to his wife and family.
I have known charlie for 7 years and he has been a good friend. He always would say thanks for taking the time to help him with medications. I will miss him and just talking to him
I have known Charlie Hart for 18 plus years and it was an honor and a privilege to know him. Once you met Charlie you wouldn’t forget him, he had such a commanding voice. It was never a dull moment when you got into a conversation with him. He always spoke highly of his wife and kids…so proud of them all. No matter how he felt, good or bad, you could always count on him to be there. It’s hard to imagine he is gone, but he will never be forgotten. We’ll miss you Charlie, I know you are in a better place.
I only worked with Charlie for a short time, but in that time he came to hold a very special place in my heart. He will be missed, and the Pharmacy lost a great friend.
I never had the honor of meeting your father, but I know he must’ve been a great man to raise a wonderful daughter like you Maria…. I am so sorry for your loss.
