Raymond T. Kammerer, 89, of Kenneth City, FL and North Miami Beach, FL passed away on October 5, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital, Tampa, FL from natural causes.
He was born to John and Kerrie Hooker in Rapid City, SD on June 15, 1920 and served in the US Army during World War II. Raymond was a Roman Catholic; Life Member of the American Legion and a member of the DAV. During World War II, he was wounded and is a 100% service connected veteran. During his life, he was a very special person who helped many people come and live in the United States of America.
He is survived by his wife, Blanca Kammerer of Kenneth City, FL and North Miami Beach, FL. The featured picture is of Raymond and his wife, Blanca.
Full military honors by Marion County Military Honor Guard, Captain Arthur Nave, officiating and graveside services are 11:30 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
