In Loving Memory
SARAH RUTH REESE, born Sarah Ruth Johnson, August 7th 1943 in Birmingham Alabama. She met John, (the love of her life) at the age of 12. They were married shortly after Sarah turned 18. She traveled with DAD during his 21 years of service in the Army. During her time on this earth, Sarah was a loving mother to Thomas, Robert, Traci, Sandra and John. A devoted sister to Ann, Ray, Larry and Joyce, a supportive Grandmother to Robert, Heather, Sara, David, Steven, Cameron, Matthew, Michael, John (J.T.) and Carrie, and a happy Great Grandmother to have met Mason, and spend some time with Abigail (her little Abby). Her extended (adopted) family, whom she loved as her own are Timmy, Logan, Charlie and Nicole (Nikki).
Mom helped some of the residents of Silver Lake Mobile Home Park by cleaning their homes in preparation of their return from various locations. She often took them to Doctors appointments, shopping, or just sat with them and talked. Sarah was an avid bowler, and held office as a Secretary of the Liberty Lanes TGIF and Last Nighters at Sunshine Bowling League.
On November 24, 2009 Sarah left us to be with our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven and to once again be in the arms of John (the love of her life). We will miss you MOM. Our hearts will be heavy with grief, our eyes full of tears, but our souls will be full of joy for the time that we shared with you here.
For those who want to send flowers, Sarah would greatly appreciate a monetary donation instead be given to: The American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association or your local Veterans Administration.

Mom, there are some who will never understand why God took you from us so soon. I know you wanted so badly to be with Dad. Please say hello to him and give him a hug from me. God really does answer prayers. I love you and will miss you. Cameron asks for you everyday, and tells everyone that you are with God. We are still in shock and disbelief that you parted from us so soon. We understand why you had to go. Your broken heart from missing Dad was just to much for you to bare. We Love you and miss you.
To my best favorite aunt in the world…. You have seen us in many different lights, and always there with your wisdom. It pains me that I (we) didn’t get to see you or spend time with you before you left us. We know that you are back with uncle johnny, and much more happier again. Please watch over all us as you have in the past and help us in making the right decisions. Terry.
