There is so much more to say about your amazing life, and the bravery and courage you have shown! You taught me that you never leave the ones you love, no matter how hard it gets. To Forgive others, Love my child completely~ the way you loved me, and to have honor and respect for my country. The special bond we shared will be cherished all the days of my life. Thanks for saving me…
Your partner in crime,
Suzi
p.s. I love you, but I am still a democrat!! (But Im sure Annabelle will grow up a strong willed Republican like you!)
:)
Dad I agree with Suzi there are so many other things and memories that I have that I could sit here and go on and on. My most cherished memory will be the day Destiny was born. I got to give my dad the miracle of birth for the first time in his life. Dad every year on her birthday I will remember you there breathing with me and will say a prayer for you. You were more of a father to me then my real dad ever was.I love you with all my heart and will see you someday.
Michelle,
This is for Mom and all of your siblings. (My second family)
My heart is broken for everyone of you. I know how hard it is saying goodbye, but I know he will be watching over all of us. Everyone was blessed to have CB in our lives, I know I was.
Love you all!!

CB Myself and Dan O’Brien lived two minutes from each other on a hill in Castle Shannon Pa. We were all good friends when we were Young.I was the oldest and therefore blamed by his folks for all the mischief we got into as preteens.”nothing bad though”.I will remember CB in my weekly prayers. He was a good person and I’m happy to hear that he passed those good genes on. My Love to all of his family.
Dear CB,
I have searched for you for many years now. I actually have an unopened letter that I sent to your last address that was returned to me. It did not have the apartment number. That wasn’t included in the search that provided the address. Although you have not been in my life as daddy for these 46 years of life, I will treasure the boyhood and military pics that I have of you. We look so much alike. I am sorry that your marriage to my mother did not last, but thank you for the gift of life. You should know that I am currently using all of the info given to me at Grandma LaBelle’s death to search for the Patterson family, your birth family. I am so thankful that we both have had the chance to be surrounded by those who love us. In the end, it isn’t blood that matters, it is those who choose to love us and those we choose to love that count. Thank you to Dorothy for including me in your obituary. That means the world to me. By the way, I have 2 sons also, Nathan- redheaded like me, and Caleb. Madison now has a daughter named MaKenna. I am glad that I finally found you, I just wish it had been much sooner.
Hi, I have searched for CB for many years and finally found him today November 16th 2022. CB lived on Hazel Drive with me in Mt. Lebanon around 1st and 2nd grade time frame. We spent a lot of time together and always walked to school together. I remember he had an older brother Gene or Eugene. I have thought about him a lot of over the years and very sad I did not find him sooner so we could relive some of our childhood memories. I still remember while walking to school, we stopped in the woods…..he unrolled his Levi rolled up cuffs and got rid of the scrambled eggs his mother made him ate, or least she thought she had. Just one of the memories I carry of CB. RIP my childhood friend. Rick Toucey
