BOGGS, JACK E. LTC, 92
Passed away quietly January 8. He was a WWII veteran serving with the US ARMY in campaigns in Africa and Italy where he received the American Defense Service European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars and then continued in the Florida National Guard until 1978. After the war he joined his father in the family owned business, Boggs Jewelry Store until his retirement in 1992. He was married to Edna Lee until her death in 2009. He is survived by 7 children, Bob, Roy and Mark Boggs, Debi Cole, Jacquelyn Avise, Paul and George Enos; 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Internment at Bay Pines on January 25, at 2:15 PM. Donations to Hospice of Florida Suncoast in lieu of flowers.

Jack was a friend of ours and our family for at least 55 years+. May you be at peace with the Lord.
I live in Mansfield in the UK and frequently attend Kings Mill Hospital which is on the site of a former millitary hospital which i believe displays one of coloner Boggs shirts from his time as a patient. I just wanted to look him up and see a picture of him.
