Mom…I am so glad I had these past two years to help you through your journey. Although, we never got to do some things we wanted…like another trip to NYC, we had some good talks and laughs. I always cracked up that you knew more than me about the celebrity world! You were always so young and vibrant! You had the ability to make me laugh even when you were feeling at your worst! Will miss you. You will always be with me, Mom….. Forever..!
We had some wonderful and fun times with Johnnie and Don and will miss both of them.

My darling little sister…You will forever be in my heart and thoughts. I am so sorry that I could not be with you during this past year…I loved talking on the phone with you, and I am so grateful that we were able to talk that last time, and heard you say “I Love You Too” in your weak, little voice. I love you Aunt Johnnie,…. till we meet again.
God must have needed another angel & he got one in Johnnie. She was one of the sweetest & kindest people we ever knew. We met when we were all real estate agents & worked together at Coldwell Banker. We became very good friends with her & Don, spending many weekends down at the beach sitting around the pool & laughing about everything. Johnnie never knew a stranger, she was friendly & outgoing, always wanting to help everyone around her. I guess that’s why she wanted to become a nurse. She studied so hard & accomplished what she set out to do. We sure do miss you, dear friend. To her children & grandchildren, you have our deepest sympathy. We will hold our precious memories in our hearts.
What a rejoicing must be going on in heaven with your arrival! You are a sweetheart and I’ll see you there in God’s time. Love, cousin Beverly
Dear Johnnie, sweet cousin, how thankful I am that you and I were able to spend time together during the past couple years making memories I will hold dear to my heart. You are so precious, humble, giving, sweet-spirited, and always managed to put others first. Your angelic nature was a blessing to me. I thank God for you and I shall forever think of you more as a long distance sister than a cousin. My faith assures me that you are with Jesus and our beloved family members and that we shall see each other in due season! I love you. To Brenda, Ron, Tammye, David, and Johnnie’s other family members: I will keep you close in my heart and in my prayers.
Rest in peace Johnnie.
Our sympathies to the family. we have known Johnnie and Don for over 16 years…
and loved them both.
We will miss bringing Johnnie her bottle of wine when we came down to 4-w for the winter…she was such fun..
and loved our happy hour.
Johnnie, you were my best friend from the day I met you. You took me in during the Gulf War when Don was stuck in Saudi Arabia and kept me sane when all the news out of SA was scary. I will never forget all the kindnesses both Don and you showed me over the years. Your time on earth was cut short but I know you are happy there in heaven with your darling Don. Rest in peace, my dearest friend. Lori
Aunt Johnnie
I will never forget how nice you were to me when I was four years old. You took me to Disneyworld and spoiled me the entire time.

Brenda, I’m so sorry to hear about your sister, although you have kept me posted, it’s still difficult to hear. I know how hard this is for you and your entire family. Johnnie is at peace and in no pain, like you said with your granddaughter and Sasha. I’ll keep you and your family in my prayers.
Love, your friend, Ros
So, so sorry to hear of Johnnie’s passing. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend at East Lake. Johnnie and Don knew no strangers, and always welcomed you with open arms. We had many wonderful evenings together. Lorrie and your siblings, our hearts go out to you. Know that your mother was one in a million. We will never forget her.
DEAR BRENDA,
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.I LOST MY SISTER OCT 1 2009
SINCERELY,

Dear Johnnie…we are all so saddened that you have been taken away from us. You had been so courageous in fighting the devastating disease that finally took your life. We will miss you but feel comforted in the fact that you no longer are suffering. So rest in peace and we someday will meet again. Love, Betty, Ollie, Debbie and Vickie
Dearest Johnnie, I will surely miss you. You are a great friend, terrible tennis player but so kind to me. We had some great times together. Luv ya girl
