I worked for Foster in early 60’s at The Bowl-A-Fun. He was an absolute joy to work for, and had a wonderful sense of humor. My sincerest sympathies to his family.
We all came to Florida at the same time in 1970 and saw each other through the 1970s and 1980s, including Sunny’s death. We’ll meet again in probably the not too distant future.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. Aunt Audrey called my brother Robert Pagel and informed us of Uncle Foster’s death. Since Uncle Foster moved to Florida when I was quite young, I have not seen him since he moved. But one of my childhood memories of him was that he drove me around in his White Chrysler Imperial Convertible! I think that is why I have such a love for convertibles! Thinking of you with Love…Your cousin Tim & Cindy Pagel
Though I didn’t know Foster personally, I enjoyed Pagel’s potato chips, popcorn and their chocolate filled doughnuts. YUM! I remember stopping at the bakery on Main Street or at Bremser’s Grocery across from the old High School. What a lunch for a kid! Every time I hear the name Pagel, it brings back memories of these childhood delicacies.
My sympathies to the family.
