Franklin H. Schnader, 66, of Largo, died peacefully on May 8, 2010 under VA Hospice care at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Born in Mohnton, PA, he moved to Florida in 1973. Frank was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington. He served in the US Army in Korea during the beginning of the Vietnam War. He retired as a drywall finisher. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed car races.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years: Teresa; son: Thomas (Deborah) of Largo, FL; two sisters: Marcelyn Reisch of St. Petersburg, FL and Mary Ann Ludwig of Seminole, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be missed terribly by his family and friends.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 1:30PM on Friday, May 21st at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SPCA Tampa Bay in Largo or VAHCS Bay Pines GPF 1086, mail to: Bay Pines VAHCS, Hospice Unit, Ward 5C, PO Box 5005, Bay Pines, FL 33744.
We feel lucky to have called Frank our friend these last 32 years. We will miss his smile and infectous laugh. Rest in peace my friend.
A great man who I respected very much. We’ll all miss him.

Frank was a good friend and a fellow golfer. He will be missed by all of us in his golfing group.
