Rachel L. Evans, 84, of Thonotosassa, FL died at the South Florida Baptist Hospital, Plant City, FL on May 22, 2010 from natural causes. Her service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday morning, May 29, 2010 at the 1st Church of God, 601 North Gordon Street, Plant City, Florida 33563 with Reverend Gary Hausman, to officiate. The family will reeive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until service time.
A native of Benson, NC and a local resident since moving to Thonotosassa, FL and the Plant City, Florida area from St Petersburg, Florida, she was a long time medical assistant for Doctor Quicksall in St Petersburg, Florida. She attended the 1st Church of God in Plant City, Florida.
Rachel is survived by her loving family: her sons; James Evans and his wife, Sherry of Wildwood, Florida and Richard Evans and his wife, Terry of Inverness, Florida; her daughters, Marsha Karkheck and her husband, Herb of Seminole, Florida and Donia Brannen of Plant City, Florida; eleven grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
Burial is private.
