Marian J. Williams, 95, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on Monday afternoon, May 31, 2010 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park, FL.
Born in Columbus, GA, she moved here from Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Fred, in 1999. She was a homemaker and talented seamstress. She enjoyed reading, singing her favorite songs, and fine dining since Fred was a Maitre ‘D. She was a member of Travelers Rest Baptist Church, St. Petersburg and she was an expert Pinochle player.
Marian is survived by her son: Fred D. Williams, Jr. and wife, Yvonne, of Gulfport, FL; a grandson: Darren C. Williams and wife, Sonte of Chicago, IL; three granddaughters: Regina Trigg, Angela Trigg, and Lisa Barnes; five great grandchildren: Ashi Williams, Danielle Holman, Derrick Holman, Brianna Barnes, and Brittany Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 9:15AM on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
