Samuel Brown was born November 29, 1919 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Dock and Annie Beth Brown. Samuel had three children: Terry Teresa Brown, Sandy Cynthia Brown and Samuel Brown, Jr.
Samuel served as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army during World War II. After time served in the military, Samuel resided in Jacksonville, FL and worked for the Greyhound bus company. Samuel eventually moved from Jacksonville, FL to Madison, FL with the latter part of his life being lived in Monticello, FL.
Samuel departed this life on Monday, June 21, 2010 in Tallahassee, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister Emma Ruth Arnold (R.C) of Madison, FL a devoted niece Ranata Anderson of Tallahassee, FL; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Brown; and three sisters: Mary Ruth Miller, Helen Lott, and Lucille Demps
