Henry E. Alfonso, 82, of Largo, FL died at his residence on July 20, 2010 under the care of the Hospice of the Suncoast and from natural causes.
Born on December 12, 1927 to Joseph and Lucy Alfonso in Fall River, MA; Henry was a labor and the a truck driver all of his life. He was a member of the Teamsters and Labor Unions in Massachusetts; a catholic and a US Army Veteran and then the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War Era. He was of the catholic faith and moved to the local area in 1987 from Fall River, MA.
He is survived by his loving family: a wife, Irene Alfonso of Largo, FL; a son, Kenneth Deus and his wife, Nancy Lynch of Tiverton, RI; three daughters: Phyllis Oliveira of Fall River, MA; Donna Benoit and her husband, Ronald of Fall River, MA and Cynthia Pinchera of Sterling, IL; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
