John F. (Jack) Hebert, 82, passed away on August 10, 2010 at Baldomero-Lopez Veterans Nursing Home in Land-O-Lakes, Florida. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on March 27, 1928, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Dovelin Hebert. John attended and graduated from local schools, and enlisted in the US Marine Corps at the conclusion of World War II. He was employed for 35 years as a supervisor for IT&T Higbie Mfg., an appliance manufacturing company. He was a life member of the Rochester Elks #797 and the Moose of Skidway Lake. Jack is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Bergeron) Hebert; a son, Mark, of Sterling Heights, MI, Barry Forro of Emmett; and daughters Verneda Dover of Howell, MI and Jill Wise of Indian River, MI. He is predeceased by Michael Forro of Florida. Jack and Marjorie spent their winters in Florida until moving here a few years ago.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Seven Oaks where he was a resident. John was interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
