Martin R. Scott of St. Petersburg passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn N.Y. on October 3,1924, the son of Martin and Ann (nee Addison) Scott, and was a graduate of St. Augustine High School in Brooklyn.
Marty entered the U.S. Army and served in Europe during WW II, and following his military career he worked for the N.Y. Telephone Co., AT&T, and Nynex.
He is survived by his loving wife Debra and children Joanne Power, Ellen J. Scott and Martin Scott; nieces Patricia Napurano, Nancy Konick, Virginia McGrath and nephew Kevin Scott.
A military service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Friday, October 1st at 10:45. A Celebration of Life will be held from1-5pm on October 16, 2010 at the Seapointe Condominium Clubhouse on Sunshine Skyway Lane, Pinellas Point.
I am so sorry to learn of your father’s passing. It is so hard to lose a parent. My thoughts are with you and your family.
