Ralph E. Newcomb, 53, of Largo, FL died on October 19, 2010. The funeral service is 3:00 PM, Friday, October 29, 2010 at Indian Rocks Baptist Church, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33770 with Pastor David Black, to officiate. Following the service VFW Post #9272 will provide full military honors.
Ralph was a native of Hamilton, OH and a local resident since 1989, when he moved to Largo. He was a Security Guard for Heritage Presbyterian Apartments, a Christian and a United States Navy veteran.
Ralph is preceded in death by his father, Raymond. He is survived by his loving family: a son, David Newcomb of Clearwater, FL; three brothers: James Newcomb from Ohio, Darin Newcomb and Johnny Newcomb, both of Hamilton, Ohio; two sisters: Donna Newcomb of Hamilton, OH and Bobbie Conly of Hamilton, Ohio; his mother, Mary Newcomb of Ohio; and his former wife and loving friend, Brenda Cooper of Clearwater, FL.
Burial was private at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Ralph, I only knew you for a short period of time, but that was enough to know who you really were. David, I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I know he’ll be missed a great deal.
My father is an amazing man, I will always remember everything he taught me and all that we shared. I will honor him for the rest of my life.
