William Boyd was born on March 4th, 1951 in Arcadia, FL. He grew up working the family ranch which led to a couple of trips on the Florida Rodeo circuits. After high school, he answered the call and served his country as a part of the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He saw the world during his time with the Air Force and traded that for a chance to travel the United States as a Journeyman Electrician, working at power plants or wherever his talents were needed. From there he married and started a trucking company driving a dump truck. Opportunity called, and he moved his family and his business to the hills of Tennessee, where he traded in the dump truck and became an over the road truck driver and began his travels across the country anew. After eight years, it was time to return home where he spent the rest of his days. Although he has gone he will always be remembered in the thoughts and prayers of his family.
