I knew Donald in the 1990s, later in his life. He lived in Florida for some time, but was a “Main-er” in every sense. He loved to talk about his life, and described in detail what it was like to land a fighter on an aircraft carrier. He lived a colorful, rich life and didn’t let life pass him by. Rest in peace, Donald.
