We will miss seeing you sitting in your chair –
the smell of your pipe –
your warm embrace-
But your life has not ended here-
You live on through those you’ve left behind. We are all better people to have known you.
With eternal love
and graditude

I was one of the many children to be adopted by the family and I can remember only parts of my time there but I do remember feeling safe and being cared for even though I did not know who these people who took me in were they made me feel loved the whole time.
My deepest sympathy and condolences.
