John Staniszewski, 75 of Largo, FL passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Largo Medical Center.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he moved here with his wife, Frances in 1998.
John served in th US Army and was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. He continued his trade as a lineman by working for Southern Bell. He also worked as a Tree Surgeon and was the Maintenance Supervisor at the Ralston Towers in Columbus, GA. He was a member of Trinity Temple Church in Columbus where he was decorated Royal Ranger Leader and he sang in the choir. He was active in a variety of activities, but mostly enjoyed being on the pool league at Park Place in Clearwater, FL where he became a member of the American Pool Players Association. He also like to play Bingo at Caribbean Isle where he was known for making the best hot dogs around.
His parents, Laura and Robert Staniszewski and wife, Frances, precede him in death. He is survived by his two daughters, Laura Stniszewski-Keil of Phenix City, AL and Faith Rankin of Largo.

I am so sorry that I have not talked to you sooner but I just could not bring myself to visit without breaking down. I miss you so much daddy. I know you are in a better place and mom is happy you are with her but I sure do miss you both. It has not been easy knowning I can not pick up the phone and call you whenever I want, but at least I can still talk to you this way. I love you very much and think about you every day. I promise I will talk to you again real soon.
