Kat and I send our sympathy to Chrys’s family. May he rest in peace now.
Chrys will be greatly missed by all of the people his life has touched. He had a big heart and shared his love of people. He helped us many times with his close friend Esmond to keep our yard up. He was kind and gentle. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family. God Bless.
CHRYS WAS A KIND AND GENEROUS MAN, WITH HIS TIME AND HIS TALENTS, HE WAS ALWAYS AT ESMOND’S DOING SOMETHING AROUND THE HOUSE AND HE WOULD HELP MY PARENTS ON OCCASION. IT WILL BE SAD NOT TO SEE HIS SMILING FACE THE NEXT TIME I GO HOME OR THE
“HI, HOW YOU DOING” HE ALWAYS YELLED OVER TO ME WHENEVER HE SAW ME VISIT.
REST IN PEACE CHRYS, MARGARET
Gary and I were sorry to hear about your loss. God Bless Chrys and his Mother and Sisters, and all of his extended family.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Chrys will so lucky to have such a loving and caring family! God bless you all!
Chrys, “BUB”, will be missed by all those he touched through his kind words. He was quick with a helping hand and I was blessed to get to know him as he helped me paint my home. He will be missed but live on through his family and many friends.
It was my pleasure to meet Chrys in 1995 while fishing on the beach in Sunset Beach where I live. He and Esmond were searching for sharks teeth. We all became close friends from that time on, and spent many hours together on the beach. I will always remember the day that I commented to him how much I liked his tee-shirt he had on one day, and the next week-end when he and Esmond came to Sunset, he offered the shirt to me.
Chrys was a kind hearted and giving guy, who you couldn’t help but like. He will be missed!
My sincere condolences to the family
Chrys (Cochise) our nickname for him will be greatly missed. Throughout the years our family and friends in the neighborhood have had the privilage to know Chrys. He would tell us what every plant and weed was and how to care for them. Loved every living creature and they all loved him. We would love to see him come with his favorite tools and little cooler for his days work. Never charging, just saying to pay what you could. The best part was the lunch break inbetween the work and the end of the day. We would sit around and listen to his travels “Around the World in a Haze” Instead of 80 Days and laugh & laugh. Tender loving to hear your story if you were having a bad week or day and some how managed to make us all feel better. He was a Christian man and feel he will be in a better place. His love for his Mother came before all and looked over her and she him for years and was soo beautiful and special. Love you and will miss you, but never forget.

Chrys was one of a kind. Not only was he giving, happy, loving, and made the best beans and rice ever! Our teenage twin boys don’t like some of our party friends, but they sure loved Chrys! This is because he was real. He was never phoney, he was just exactly the good soul he was. Even our 5 dogs loved him! Chrys is probably dancing with Eliabeth Taylor now in heaven as we speak. Go Chrys and keep having fun! We love you and will miss you. Best to the family.
