Rebecca Sanchez (Becca) is a crematory operator at Veterans Funeral Care. She performs all tasks involved in the cremation process including receiving and processing remains, documentation, general maintenance and operating in compliance with local/state/federal laws. Her job is very detail oriented, and she performs it with a high level of compassion and integrity.
Becca comes to us after 11 years with the U.S. Army as an Interrogator. During her military career she toured Afghanistan, Haiti, and Ecuador. Becca was responsible for the movement of 18 soldiers and 2.5 million worth of equipment from Fort Brag to Afghanistan. She was charged with handling the postal operations and directing the flow of packages and letters to 43,000 soldiers. Becca also has an Associate’s Degree from State College of Florida (Bradenton).
Growing up she lived abroad in England (where she attended military school), Ireland, Fortaventura and Mexico. She is most proud of her 12-year-old son Sylis. Together they love spending time at the beach, riding rollercoasters, hiking to waterfalls, ziplining and playing video games. Becca is also mom to her fur baby, a terrier mix named Gizmo.
In her spare time Becca loves being creative and working with her hands making candles and doing woodwork.
