Carol Lou Dunai-Anderson, 70, of Clearwater, FL. Funeral service is 9:30 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL. The family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 AM until until service time.
A native of St Louis, Mo, then grew up in Newark, Delaware. She graduated from University of Delaware with a Masters of Education. She and Doug started a Baptist church in their basement in Martinsville, Virginia. A local resident since 1976, she moved here from Lugoff, SC. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the 4 H Club. She taught school in Delaware, Virginia and South Carolina then a career change and became an Executive Recruiter with Dunhill and later with Quantum. She was the President of Quantum International. Carol was president of FAPC (Florida Association of Personnel Consultants) and a member of Indian Rocks Baptist Church since 1977. She was active as a Sunday school teacher since she was 15 years old and the Sunday School Teacher of the Glory Girls from 1977 -2011. She held numerous positions such as a Chairman of the Personnel Committee; Chairman of the Stewardship Committee; a member of the Mission Committee; Member of the Constitutional Committee; a Choir Member; member of the Indian Rocks Christian School Board of Directors; held various positions on the Southern Baptist Convention Committees and a present member of the Board of Directors of Shepherds Village. She was a Fierce Soul Winner and a wonderful wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Douglas Lee Anderson of Clearwater, FL; her son, Jeffrey Anderson of Clearwater, FL; her daughters; Johannah Anderson of Clearwater, FL and Julia McMichen and her husband, Paul of Thonotosassa, FL and her grandchildren: Katie McMichen, Karl McMichen and Kara McMichen.

Carol I miss you very much but I know you are in a wonderful place now and no longer in pain.
It was such a pleasure to take care of such a wonderful, caring, remarkable person. Even though I only knew her for such a short time I grew to love her humer,and loving way. The love she had for everyone was amazing. May her memory last forever and her love continue to shine through all of you forever. janet “the helpful one” Blessings to you all
Carol will truly be missed. I loved ringing bells right next to her. She was such a devotional and loving person. She truly knew how to share God’s love with everyone she met. She definitely touched my life forever. My prayers are with Hanna and the rest of the family during this time.
I praise God that you are not in pain any longer. I also know you are singing in the soprano section of heaven’s choir. I will miss you very much dear friend but I know that I know that I know I will see you again in glory.
Carol, I know you are before the Lord now, on you face and when you get up, you will sing Amazing Grace to Him. My darlin, I do not mourn where you are, I mourn where you are not!
Carol we are so glad that you are pain free and we know that you are singing for Jesus!!! we will so miss you but know that we will see you again one day.We love you!!!!
We will surely miss Carol. She was a great lady wo loved the Lord and it showed. We are praying for all of you in your loss.
I know that Carol can’t see this entry so I will address it to her loving family. Your wife, mother and grandmother was such an inspiration to so many people and she openly witnessed about her Lord to anyone that would listen (even if they didn’t want to. Ha) She was so bold in that respect. She has been an inspiration to my life. I know you all will miss her greatly, but we will all see her in Glory. My prayers are for your peace in your great loss.
