Carol Lou Dunai-Anderson, 70, of Clearwater, FL. Funeral service is 9:30 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL. The family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 AM until until service time.

A native of St Louis, Mo, then grew up in Newark, Delaware. She graduated from University of Delaware with a Masters of Education. She and Doug started a Baptist church in their basement in Martinsville, Virginia. A local resident since 1976, she moved here from Lugoff, SC. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the 4 H Club. She taught school in Delaware, Virginia and South Carolina then a career change and became an Executive Recruiter with Dunhill and later with Quantum. She was the President of Quantum International. Carol was president of FAPC (Florida Association of Personnel Consultants) and a member of Indian Rocks Baptist Church since 1977. She was active as a Sunday school teacher since she was 15 years old and the Sunday School Teacher of the Glory Girls from 1977 -2011. She held numerous positions such as a Chairman of the Personnel Committee; Chairman of the Stewardship Committee; a member of the Mission Committee; Member of the Constitutional Committee; a Choir Member; member of the Indian Rocks Christian School Board of Directors; held various positions on the Southern Baptist Convention Committees and a present member of the Board of Directors of Shepherds Village. She was a Fierce Soul Winner and a wonderful wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Douglas Lee Anderson of Clearwater, FL; her son, Jeffrey Anderson of Clearwater, FL; her daughters; Johannah Anderson of Clearwater, FL and Julia McMichen and her husband, Paul of Thonotosassa, FL and her grandchildren: Katie McMichen, Karl McMichen and Kara McMichen.
