Jennifer S. Kazar

Jennifer S. Kazar, 64, of Seminole, Florida passed away on October 15, 2020 in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Jennifer was born on December 2, 1955 in Urbana, Ohio to Edward and
Rebecca Schade. On August 19, 1978 Jennifer married the love of her life, Kim, who survives.  Jennifer and Kim just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary at one of their favorite places, Anna Maria Island.  Jennifer and Kim loved the beach. The Islander was a special place for Jennifer and her family. They had a week there every year and her family often would come down to stay. She was on the board at The Islander for many years and helped with redecorating the units after renovations. She loved to decorate and really had a flair with design.

Jennifer graduated from Urbana High School in 1974 where she was a cheerleader and active in many clubs. After high school, she attended Nationwide Beauty Academy in Columbus, Ohio and graduated in 1976. She moved to Florida and got her first hairstyling job in Belleair Bluffs where she later met Kim. She left her job to start a successful home daycare business while raising her two children. Jennifer homeschooled both children until they went to high school, all while watching up to five babies at a time. She was super mom. Her latest job was as a hairstylist at the Westminster Shores Community. Jennifer loved to make all her clients feel beautiful and special. Her favorite thing to do was change her hair color and style which kept her family on their toes. Doing hair was her passion and first love, along with caring for the elderly and children, she was the most herself doing those things.

Jennifer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She loved her children with everything in her and loved her little rosebud more than she could describe, they all meant the world to her.  Jennifer was an active member at Suncoast Cathedral and loved the Lord. She was the children’s nursery director for five years and was a leader in the Missionettes for over ten years, leading a group that started as Prims to become Honor Stars. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Kim Kazar of Seminole, FL.; her daughter Elizabeth Kazar, her boyfriend, Derek Eling, and their dog Cooper of Clearwater, FL.; her son, Edward Kazar, his wife Krystal Kazar, their daughter, her granddaughter, Elliana Kazar, and their dog Dash of Largo, FL; her mother, Rebecca Schade of Springfield, Ohio; and her three sisters: MelissaEvilsizor of Urbana, Ohio, Lisa Cox of Urbana, Ohio, and Kris Parsons of Springfield, Ohio.  Jennifer’s service will be held at 6:30 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Suncoast Cathedral Assembly, 2300 62nd Avenue North, St Petersburg, FL  33702. The family will receive friends at Suncoast Cathedral starting at 6:00 PM.

Please send flowers to Suncoast Cathedral Assembly (2300 62nd Avenue North, St Petersburg, FL 33702). If you would like to donate in lieu of flowers, please donate to the children’s nursery at Suncoast Cathedral in Jennifer’s honor.
