Jennifer S. Kazar, 64, of Seminole, Florida passed away on October 15, 2020 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Jennifer was born on December 2, 1955 in Urbana, Ohio to Edward and
Rebecca Schade. On August 19, 1978 Jennifer married the love of her life, Kim, who survives. Jennifer and Kim just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary at one of their favorite places, Anna Maria Island. Jennifer and Kim loved the beach. The Islander was a special place for Jennifer and her family. They had a week there every year and her family often would come down to stay. She was on the board at The Islander for many years and helped with redecorating the units after renovations. She loved to decorate and really had a flair with design.
Jennifer graduated from Urbana High School in 1974 where she was a cheerleader and active in many clubs. After high school, she attended Nationwide Beauty Academy in Columbus, Ohio and graduated in 1976. She moved to Florida and got her first hairstyling job in Belleair Bluffs where she later met Kim. She left her job to start a successful home daycare business while raising her two children. Jennifer homeschooled both children until they went to high school, all while watching up to five babies at a time. She was super mom. Her latest job was as a hairstylist at the Westminster Shores Community. Jennifer loved to make all her clients feel beautiful and special. Her favorite thing to do was change her hair color and style which kept her family on their toes. Doing hair was her passion and first love, along with caring for the elderly and children, she was the most herself doing those things.
Jennifer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She loved her children with everything in her and loved her little rosebud more than she could describe, they all meant the world to her. Jennifer was an active member at Suncoast Cathedral and loved the Lord. She was the children’s nursery director for five years and was a leader in the Missionettes for over ten years, leading a group that started as Prims to become Honor Stars. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Kim Kazar of Seminole, FL.; her daughter Elizabeth Kazar, her boyfriend, Derek Eling, and their dog Cooper of Clearwater, FL.; her son, Edward Kazar, his wife Krystal Kazar, their daughter, her granddaughter, Elliana Kazar, and their dog Dash of Largo, FL; her mother, Rebecca Schade of Springfield, Ohio; and her three sisters: MelissaEvilsizor of Urbana, Ohio, Lisa Cox of Urbana, Ohio, and Kris Parsons of Springfield, Ohio. Jennifer’s service will be held at 6:30 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Suncoast Cathedral Assembly, 2300 62nd Avenue North, St Petersburg, FL 33702. The family will receive friends at Suncoast Cathedral starting at 6:00 PM.
Please send flowers to Suncoast Cathedral Assembly (2300 62nd Avenue North, St Petersburg, FL 33702). If you would like to donate in lieu of flowers, please donate to the children’s nursery at Suncoast Cathedral in Jennifer’s honor.
Jennifer was my very best friend of 41 years. She was always there to talk over a cup of coffee or tea. We had a lot of fun times shopping at the Mall and rooting for the Rays. Over the last several years the miles separated us but I always hoped we would live close to each other again sometime. I will miss Jennifer so much. She was a very important part of my life. 💔
Kim and family. Words can’t express how saddened we are to know of your loss. Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength. We are here to share your burden always. We will always remember Jennifer’s smile.
Much Love,
Rick & Barbara
I’m so sorry to hear this about Jenny! We were close back in school way back in the day. Jenny was the best and my heart goes out to her family and friends! May God’s hedge of loving goodness surround you all! Rest In Peace my old friend!
Jennifer was my big sister and my inspiration. She made me want to be a better person because of how much she loved everyone. I would stay down here every summer with her and Kim from the time I was 6 yrs. old until I was 18. We developed a special bond that went deeper than sisters and for that I will always be thankful and blessed.
Kim, Elizabeth, and Edward I love you all and I sorry from the bottom of my heart. She loved all of you deeply and unconditionally and was so very proud to be your wife, mother and mimi to Elliana.
Jennifer was a true blessing to me!!! We had sweet times together doing home school and 4-H projects! She was such a beautiful, loving, kind friend that made the world a better place. She had a heart for Jesus and for people, and she will be greatly missed on this earth, but I look forward to seeing her on the other side in our true home with the Lord forever, where there is no more pain or suffering! May we carry on the torch where she left off share the love of Jesus as she did! Many prayers and thoughts to her family in this painful time.
So very sorry to hear of Jennifer’s passing. Your family has been in our thoughts during these past months.
I remember when we had family get together a. I will miss her and her smile. She was one of s kind ..
Jennifer was my first baby, my gift from God. I kept a Christmas tree up when I got her home Children’s Hospital after a 4 week stay and laid her under the tree beside her first doll which was same length but bigger than she was. Jennifer grew into a beautiful woman. She was lived by many throughout her life and was a very thoughtful person. Putting others needs before her own. She was a blessing to many. I used to look forward to the times we spent together and will kiss these moments.
I know she is in heaven with her brother, father, and grandparents and many other family and friends. I look forward to the day when we will all be reunited again in heaven in God’s time.
I love you Jennifer, my beautiful little girl.
Love, Mom
