Arlene Pamela Norales

Arlene Pamela Norales, born on October 17, 1972, in the picturesque Belize District of Belize, passed away on December 9, 2025, at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Arlene’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit, deep compassion, and a profound love for her family.

She was the beloved daughter of Arthur Percival Jones and Jean Elsworth Noralez, and she is preceded in death by her loving parents, her sister Nicole Indrid Norales, and her cherished maternal and paternal grandparents, Josephine Sampson and Eric Norales, as well as Arthur Jones, Sr. and Dorothy Jones. Arlene’s legacy, however, lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her daughter Gelaine Lord, her son George Lord, her sister Catherine Jones, and her brother Erneil Norales. She was a proud grandmother to Cairo Ford and a cherished aunt to her nephew Malique Meighan. Arlene also leaves behind her beloved aunt, Elsa Enriquez Sampson, uncles Felix Norales Sampson and Wellington C. Ramos, and a host of cousins and relatives in both the United States and Belize.

Arlene dedicated her professional life as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, where she provided care and compassion to countless patients. Her work was not merely a job; it was a calling that reflected her nurturing personality and her commitment to helping others.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Arlene was a woman of many passions. Her proudest achievement was undoubtedly her role as a mother, a title she wore with pride and dedication. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including reading, writing—especially poetry—solving crossword puzzles, and enjoying sports. Her warm-hearted personality and infectious laughter endeared her to those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Friends and family will remember Arlene not just for her talents and interests, but for the unwavering love and support she provided to those around her. Her presence lit up every room, and her ability to connect with others will be profoundly missed.

A funeral service to celebrate Arlene’s life will be held on January 16, 2025, at Veterans Funeral Care, beginning at 11:00 AM. In the spirit of honoring her memory, we invite all who knew and loved her to join us in a celebration of her remarkable life.

As we say goodbye to Arlene Pamela Norales, let us carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and joy. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who have passed before her and the hearts of those she leaves behind.
